ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Do you want to fly over some of the most beautiful places in the world, or play in the powder snow in the backyard of the school, Jotunheimen? The incredibly popular paragliding program continues to make dreams come true, year after year. We will climb sharp peaks, sit around the campfire with friends, and fly over stunning landscapes in Norway, Greece and South Africa.

The paraglider course starts in Norway, where we begin by flying on the school slope before moving on to higher altitudes. There are some magnificent locations near the school, but in order to get the best experience and training, we will continue our training in Drama, Greece. Here, we will live together and enjoy the atmosphere, with excellent food and fantastic flying opportunities.

We have discovered the perfect paragliding paradise in Greece and South Africa. Imagine soaring high above a landscape beyond description, while dolphins play in the sea just off the beach where you go in for landing.

Food and Lodging

75 000 NOK

The sum covers food and lodging as long as the school is open.

General Expenses

15 000 NOK

The sum covers equipment rental, copying, electives, core subjects and group trips.

Program Expenses

48 000 NOK

The sum covers all domestic and international trips, activities, instructors and equipment rental.

Study Trip to South Africa

In November we will spend a lot of time in South Africa, exploring places known for their unique experiences. South Africa offers nature experiences that you will never forget. And when you find yourself in the air, flying over the landscape, it is truly unimaginable for those who haven’t been there! Our three weeks in South Africa will be packed with adventure. This includes paragliding, skydiving, shark cage diving, the world's highest bungee jump, swimming with penguins, safari, surfing, kayaking and beach life.

Culture and People
During your stay in Cape Town, you will have the opportunity to meet and spend some time with the locals. We want to create a positive experience for those who need it the most. There are children and youths who will love to meet you! There will be sports, athletics and other activities with children from the streets and orphanages of Cape Town, a city of stark contrasts between the rich and the poor.

Sharp Peaks in Our Own Backyard

Considering our school’s fantastic location, we should of course take advantage of the skiing and snowboarding opportunities!

Jotunheimen, with its sharp ridges and majestic peaks, will be our playground throughout the year. In rope teams, we will cross glaciers and ascend several 2000 meter peaks. Unity and cooperation are essential for success on these exciting trips.

Outdoor Life

During our trips, you will become intimate with outdoor life and camping. What could be better than hot cocoa and freshly toasted marshmallows with good friends around the fire? The experiences of each day will be retold and relived in cheerful conversation before the setting sun.

Snowkiting and (Ice) Climbing

Hardangervidda is known as one of the world's best destinations for snowkiting! Here, you will receive training and find out what snowkiting is all about.

The school offers a wide range of opportunities for climbing and bouldering. We have our own bouldering walls and access to an indoor climbing gym, as well as countless outdoor climbing areas for beginners and experts alike
