At Valdres Folkehøgskole, different programs come together for activities and events. This means that you will spend time with students from many different classes throughout the year. In addition, we organize trips for the whole school, such as our trip to Besseggen where everyone will stay together at Memurubu Mountain Lodge. At the boarding house, you will also live with students from other programs. In other words, you will get to know lots of different people, and there is always someone to hang out with.
Valdres Folkehøgskole has a German friendship school in Freiburg. As a result, there are several German students with us every year, and we often have students from other countries as well. This is great for the community.
It is also possible to apply as a buddy for students in the adapted education program. This will give you a meaningful, educational and rewarding relationship throughout your time at the school.
Many students make long-time friends during the year, and many choose to live together during their time at university. For many, this provides a safe start to life as a student.
