Exotic Outdoor Life is the program for those who seek exciting experiences in Norwegian nature. Spend the night high above the ground in a hammock, or enjoy the view from a lofty treetop tent. This will be a different year, with exotic trips around Norway. Travel with us to the Caribbean and experience lush and colorful Costa Rica.

Challenge yourself!

You will experience exciting activities and the outdoor wonderland of Valdres with its magnificent nature as your classroom. There will be snow rafting, tingling glacier walks in rope teams on the blue ice, culinary campfire food, daring mountain walks, sparkling moonlight hikes, overnight stays in treehouse cabins, alpine skiing and snowboarding, social cabin trips and peaceful canoeing. You will also get to learn or develop your Spanish by speaking. You will experience a day on your own in the wilderness and cozy ski trips with campfires.

Food and Lodging
75 000 NOK
The sum covers food and lodging as long as the school is open.
General Expenses
15 000 NOK
The sum covers equipment rental, copying, electives, core subjects and group trips.
Program Expenses
48 000 NOK
The sum covers all domestic and international trips, activities, instructors and equipment rental.

Study Trip

Costa Rica is a paradise for exotic outdoor life. The country is located in Central America, with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. On this trip, we will experience the best that Costa Rica has to offer and live what Costa Ricans call "Vida Pura". We will stay with local farmers in San Carlos, practice Spanish, plant pineapple trees, milk cows and go kayaking in the lagoon while monkeys watch us from the trees. We will raft in the Sarapiqui River, visit indigenous communities, engage in volunteer work and enjoy days of snorkeling, diving and swimming on white sandy beaches.

This trip is a unique and unforgettable mix of history, culture, nature, sports and people. It will be intense, different and exciting!

Friends for Life!

We will climb mountain peaks in Jotunheimen with spectacular views, navigate through the blue ice of the glacier, explore the best of our national parks and have long, pleasant evenings around the crackling campfire, making friends for life. We will spend our nights in cabins, tents and shelters, or underneath the starry sky.
