Recording routines
All folk high schools will start accepting students on November 15. We will accept students on a rolling basis until the school/program is full.
All applications will be processed on a rolling basis until the program/school is full. If the school/program is full, your application will be placed on a waiting list based on the time we received your application.
We want a safe and good school environment with us, and therefore want you to accept the terms regarding rules of conduct, alcohol and payment routines.
The school place is yours once the enrollment fee has been paid.
We will process your application as quickly as possible, processing the application may take up to 3 weeks.
Conditions/Criteria for admission
Everyone is welcome to apply to Valdres Folkehøgskole. The most common age group with us is between 18 and 23 years old, the average age is 19.5 years old.
- Please attach your latest available diploma or transcript, including grades, conduct, and absences. You can also send these documents as a follow-up.
- Write a little about yourself and why you want to attend the school/program you have applied to.
- If you have special needs, such as accommodations, extra follow-up, diagnoses or anything else that could be important for the year, you must state this in your application.
- Students with special needs should apply early, so that the school has the opportunity to consider various forms of accommodation.
Right of appeal
All applicants/students have the right to appeal to the board of Valdres Folkehøgskule A/S.
Right of withdrawal
14 days after the right of withdrawal law.
