Freeriding

Costa Rica is an eldorado for exotic outdoor activities and you will get to explore it! We will explore rainforests, national parks, the ocean and several cities. The country is well-developed in tourism, but with a focus on genuine encounters with both nature and culture. We will experience this through lots of different activities such as zip-lining through the rainforest, rafting on the Sarapiqui River, diving with sharks in the Pacific Ocean, tandem paragliding over chalk-white beaches and surfing in the Caribbean Sea.

In the winter months we take a short break from skiing and snow and head to South Africa, a fantastic area with many exciting activities. There you will experience the rush of the world's highest bungee jump, find the flow on a surfboard in the Indian Ocean and walk in Nelson Mandela's footsteps on historic Robben Island. Push your limits when you go skydiving and hiking in a mysterious limestone cave in Cango Caves.

Our unique journey through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Offers unforgettable experiences and human encounters. Everything from vast savannas with wild animals to skydiving over the desert. This is a journey where you experience Africa at its core. We start by flying a helicopter over the mighty Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. If you are brave, you can also try bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge. In Botswana we paddle mokoro in the lush Okavango River Delta, look at ancient baobab trees and meet the tribal people “San bushman”.

New Zealand is a world-renowned destination for extreme sports and offers unique activity experiences. Among other things, we will go skydiving, bungee jumping, surfing and rafting on this trip. Rafting on the Kaituna River with a waterfall drop in Tutea Falls, the largest commercial waterfall in the world! Nature experiences are spectacular. We will hike Mount Ngauruhoe, better known from The Lord of the Rings as Mt. Doom. Because New Zealand is known for the filming of several films, including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. If you are a fan of those films, you will have the opportunity to visit the Hobbiton movie set on this trip.

On the trip to the Costa Blanca we experience the best of Europe, a journey with good friends in a safe environment. On this trip, the Aktiv-linja will experience both mastery and well-being, in southern surroundings.

Here you will experience fantastic days of powder skiing and steep slopes in the Alps. Schladming is the organizer of the Alpine World Ski Championships, and we go down to test the slopes. This area offers both well-groomed slopes, park facilities and good off-piste opportunities. We will also go to the Dachstein glacier - where we can ski at an altitude of almost 3000 meters. Many locally known ski instructors are with us and help to make the alpine trip an unforgettable experience.

You put one foot in front of the other, focus on breathing well and when you look up you see the sun rising and it is so incredibly beautiful. You also feel the excitement as you approach the summit of the 5895 meter high Kilimanjaro. The world's highest freestanding mountain! This amazing climb takes place together with local guides and sherpas who help us carry equipment, prepare food and make sure we are comfortable.

Join us on a trek among the world's highest mountains! The goal is Everest Basecamp and the mountain Kala Patar. Walk along the old paths and roads into the world of the Sherpas. To reach the goal, cars or buses are not an option. Along the route we take, there is no road and the only way to get from village to village is on foot. Horses and eventually yaks are the only thing besides legs that will work here! Such a trip is a unique opportunity to experience thin air, look up at the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest and experience the Sherpas' culture up close!

On our trip to Peru we will experience both high mountains and beautiful beaches, with surfing, climbing and atmospheric evenings. We will experience some of the world's oldest cultures, something you probably won't do more than once in your life!

This year's study trip is to Drama in Greece. Here you will see what the country actually looks like outside of the famous tourist spots. The whole week is spent practicing long and high paragliding flights, as well as lots of good Greek food.
