Safari means travel, and together we will go on the safari of a lifetime through three countries in West Africa. From Livingstone and the majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, we will continue through the safari paradise of Botswana and finally end up in Namibia with long sandy beaches and the world's largest sand dunes.

Travel
Africa
Our unique journey through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. Offers unforgettable experiences and human encounters. Everything from vast savannas with wild animals to skydiving over the desert. This is a journey where you experience Africa at its core. We start by flying a helicopter over the mighty Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. If you are brave, you can also try bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge. In Botswana we paddle mokoro in the lush Okavango River Delta, look at ancient baobab trees and meet the tribal people “San bushmen”.
Through strong cultural encounters you can learn something about yourself and others. We visit the capital of Namibia, Windhoek. In Namibia we go to Etocha National Park, where there are opportunities to see four of the “Big 5”. Elephants and lions are very likely to be glimpsed. Further west we stop by the much photographed mountain area Spitzkoppe. Ride sandboarding and ATV on the dunes at Swakopmund, meet school children and the “Himba” people. In other words, this is a journey out of the ordinary. It is packed with experiences you might never have experienced on your own, and not least you get to experience this with good friends and in a safe environment.

Finance and costs
How to finance your school year?
Some people think that folk high schools are expensive, but it is significantly cheaper to live in a boarding house at a folk high school than to live in a dormitory and pay for your own food. See the calculation example below:
