Our journey to Wilderness in South Africa is an exciting mix of natural wonders and adrenaline-filled experiences. With rugged cliffs along the coast and vast plains inland, you will experience the country through an unforgettable journey.
With a paraglider you can soar over the amazing landscape and experience the freedom and panoramic views. Here you can also experience the opportunity to fly over whales and dolphins playing in the waves along the coast. After several hours in the air flying together with eagles and your classmates, you can land on the beach. Everything is in place for an unforgettable paragliding experience.
For an extra adrenaline rush, we will skydive and do the world's highest bungee jump, from the famous Bloukrans Bridge.
Amidst these adrenaline-fuelled activities, Addo Elephant Park provides a tranquil contrast. Safari excursions allow you to observe elephants and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat, showcasing South Africa's rich biodiversity.

Do you want to soar over some of the most beautiful places in the world, as well as play in the powder school's backyard Jotunheimen? The incredibly popular paragliding line has managed to make dreams come true year after year. We will split sharp peaks, sit around the fire with good friends, and fly over the world's most beautiful landscapes in Norway, South Africa and North Macedonia.

We will travel both high and low in the contrasting South Africa! Experience wild exotic animals and wild exotic nature. Experience close encounters with the locals and do exciting activities with your classmates.

No prior knowledge or experience is required to start Paragliding - The Indian Ocean, but you must be committed and motivated to try a lot of different activities! Hello!
My name is Hallvard and I am a paragliding instructor. During this year we will explore the sky together and the possibilities that paragliding gives us. It will be a year with a focus on new challenges, cooperation and safety. In addition, you will be able to get a hobby for life!
I am a qualified teacher and have been paragliding for many years. In 2017 I became an instructor and have been involved in several courses since then. It is important to me that you feel cared for and experience mastery in a safe environment.

How to finance your school year?
Some people think that folk high schools are expensive, but it is significantly cheaper to live in a boarding house at a folk high school than to live in a dormitory and pay for your own food. See the calculation example below:
