As a student, you will have the opportunity to choose to join another course's study trip. Valdres Folkehøgskole travels all over the world. You choose the destination and course during the fall that you want to participate in. Please see the program and destinations for our other courses.

Drone pilot - sports
Drones are a relatively new and rapidly growing sport in Norway. Flying a drone is more than just controlling a flying unmanned craft. Learn technique, balance, mentality, strategy to achieve mastery. Drones can be used in an incredible number of areas. Here you will experience how important tasks a drone can solve and be of help to society. It is really fun to master drones from A to Z. You can do this here!
Own airport
We have the best training conditions when it comes to drone flying. We have our own airport, Fagernes Airport, which provides safe and good learning in controlled surroundings.
Join other lines at school
In addition to being on your own line, you will spend time with the other lines at the school. Here you will be able to attend many activities on several lines with and without a drone.

Board/lodging covers housing and food during the time the school is open.

How to finance your school year?
Some people think that folk high schools are expensive, but it is significantly cheaper to live in a boarding house at a folk high school than to live in a dormitory and pay for your own food. See the calculation example below:
