Valdres Folk High School lies at the base of the tallest mountain range in northern Europe - Jotunheimen! 80% of Norway's peaks of over 2,000 metres are here. Snow! From November to May. There are 1000! kilometres of cross-country skiing trails and 7 alpine centres in our winter adventure. The taste of the mountains: Bitihorn, Besseggen, Surtningssui, Rankonosi and Rasletind. Life at folk high school should be a flurry of sensational experiences. Expeditions in Norway and other countries, boarding-school life, nightlife, scenic adventures and an alternative school life. Danger! Lifelong friendships may be formed.
